Logic King 1.0 - A tribute to one of my favorite current musicians. Expressing gratitude to your influences has been a theme in Logic's music that resonates with the diverse background of music/culture/history in my own life experiences. Logic's music lifted me through some of life's most challenging moments and this painting is my "Thank-you" note.
AJ1 Barcelona 1.0
The AJ1 Barcelona was painted as a tribute to the Sneaker that sparked my interest with the Jordan brand. Layered with nuance and meaning, the painting process served as a symbol of grief over the Artist’s late best friend Jordan. The use of the “fade-away” technique seen was originally introduced to me while reviewing work by Leyendecker. This piece discusses what is and isn’t there through the use of negative space and positive form… An expression of the Artist’s experience of reality, life, and death.

Strawberry 1.0 Was the first digital painting in the “Gratitude” Series. The painting was started in 2015 and finished in 2017. Created in Procreate for iPad and ApplePencil and hundreds of hours of work. Inspiration was drawn from Across the Universe and The Beatles, the music that accompanied the origin of my creative endeavors.
